With summer approaching this Historic McPherson Town
resident desired a new backyard retreat. Therefore we developed a new pergola and deck for her enjoyment. The pergola and screen are constructed with hand milled cedar. Deck and steps construction is painted pine.
For this family of seven, we transformed an existing bathroom and closet into two full bathrooms. The hall bath consisted of 48″x34″ shower, water closet, pedestal sink and built-in wall cabinet. For the new master bathroom, the homeowners asked us to provide them with a ‘nicer’ master bathroom. Therefore we responded with a custom slate tiled shower (7′x4′), painted wood paneled wainscot, custom vanity with granite countertop and undermounted sinks.
Please join us on Saturday, April 5, 2008 for the opening of the ARC shop. Architectural items for sale include stained glass windows, claw foot tubs, columns, balustrades and more. We are open the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 4 pm and located in historical South Park - Wayne Avenue to west on Oak Street to north on Perrine. Recently we completed the historical renovation of the residence located at 520 Hickory Street in Historical South Park. Construction details include sustainable or green design principals for a truly energy efficient historical renovation. Numerous products were reused or recycled including the cabinetry, flooring, windows and door.
Recently Kent Development Group challenged their new interior decorator, Tracy to economically renovate their office’s bathroom. With an extremely limited budget and ample reusable supplies, Tracy transformed this space into an inviting and pleasant area which we all appreciate. In addition, KDG can now utilize this redeveloped bathroom as an example of their services.

The Smith residence was the unfortunate victim of an automobile accident where a truck smashed through their masonry front porch. The decorative precast concrete columns, newel posts, balustrade and railings were all severely damaged and unrepairable. Therefore, KDG re-designed the front porch utilizing new painted redwood elements. Now the new front porch and landscaped beds serve as an inviting new entrance to this East Dayton residence.
In the effort to remain a sustainable & progressive company, Kent Development Group, has recently launched a new division, the Architectural Reclamation Company (ARC). Our goal is to reduce the debris we send to the land fills and offer to the public architecturally significant items. Our current inventory includes: stained glass windows, claw foot tubs, wood mantles, many different variety and species of interior and exterior doors, columns, hardware, iron fencing, and more.
Hours of operation:
10:00am to 2:00 pm the first Saturday of the Month with the grand opening being, November 3, 2007.
Location:
the ARC shop @ 243 Perrine Street in Historical South Park.
Hope to see you there….
